At the halfway point between Clarksburg and Shinnston sits a
park with a Pavilion area, playground, basketball court and a regulation
baseball field for Youth, Travel and Pony Leagues. Used by many in the area
including some of the local youth church groups, the park offers a safe and fun
atmosphere where families can feel safe as the confines of the property allows
for vision at many angles. A GaGa pit was installed shortly after based on the
popularity at the Recreation Complex and plans include to upgrade the baseball
field making it a multi-purpose field for all levels of baseball and softball.
